Skills Training
This skills training programme is empowering the students (aged 15 to 20 years) to be self reliant through active participation, respect of life, self dignity and appreciation through spiritual and practical formation. We prepare them for independent living through offering life skills training, entrepreneurship, counseling and recreation. We give them exposure to companies and other institutions. This way they are able to support themselves and at the same time their families. Our instructors are experienced and the carpentry, salon and knitting workshops are well equipped.
Our skills training programme offers various services for interested customers. Carpentry students not only prepare furniture but also repair them. The services of our Hairdressing Course include manicure, pedicure, weaving and braiding. We take orders from schools, shops or private customers.
Anyone who is between 15 and 20 years old and has at least completed Standard 8 can join one of the following skill training programs for a small fee.
- Carpentry and Joinery
- Hairdressing & Beauty Therapy
